Murder in Court

Series: «Histoires dangereuses»
© 2007

Algard’s story is not only the searching for a murderer, who expresses anger by killing in a Roman Court. Inspector Rotunno and the police sergeant Mazzotta will have to wade through many events which apparently have nothing to do with this death. The vicissitudes of those working in the Courthouse, with their petty jealousies, difficult family relationships, betrayals, resentments, sex and drugs, indicates at a glance in which environment the murderer must be found… The reader should not judge the characters too harshly. Working in the courts of justice does not make normal persons saints or special. It is because of this that Algard has called each by name – with some rare exceptions – in order to make each as human as each of us. A classic habit of Algard to force us to see all of it as it is, instead of hoping for something that one wishes it to be.
